What is All-on-4®?

All-on-4 is a dental implant procedure that simplifies the process of replacing an entire arch of teeth. 

Whether you need to replace your upper teeth, lower teeth, or both arches, All-on-4 allows you to use just four metal posts (implants) to support a whole denture. The team spaces the four implants evenly across your jawbone and allows your bone to bond with the titanium. Once bonded to the bone, your implants can support a full range of oral function! 

Your All-on-4 dentures aren’t removable, so they remain stable when you eat, drink, yawn, and speak. However, your dentist can easily remove the device if you ever need replacement teeth in the future. 

The total time until receiving your teeth with All-on-4 implants is often much shorter than the  time for conventional implants. After receiving your denture, it’s easy to clean and maintain your dental implants by continuing your usual oral hygiene routine with some extra instructions from your dentist.

They will go over your general medical history and your dental history before providing an examination and taking a three-dimensional X-ray of your face. If they detect any potential problems, they will let you know if All-on-4 is still an option. 

You may be a candidate for All-on-4 if you:

• Have lost multiple teeth from injuries
• Have lost multiple teeth from tooth decay
• Have lost multiple teeth from advanced gum disease
• Can’t restore your broken teeth
• Have adequate bone density or can get a bone graft
• Are generally healthy

If you need any other procedures before All-on-4, the team will provide them ahead of time.
